Bend the Bar Fitness is family-owned, locally built, and proudly rooted in Cherokee County, Alabama.
We're the Hincy's. Matt and Jessica have lived and gone to school in Cherokee County their entire lives — and so have Jesslyn and Cohen. This is home.
When COVID hit and the world shut down, we decided to make the best out of a hard situation. We started building our first location in Centre to give our community another way to stay happy, healthy, and connected. What started as one gym during a tough time has grown into eight locations across Alabama — and we're just getting started.
From the very beginning our kids have been in the gym with us — "helping clean," learning to lift with Dad, and getting to know the members. It's a family business in every sense of the word.
